Terms and Conditions

General

The general terms and conditions apply to every product or service of Mari-Ve and apply to every individual user of the website who places an order via the webshop, hereinafter referred to as “Buyer”.

When ordering a product from the webshop, the Buyer accepts these general terms and conditions. We have the right to change our general terms and conditions at any time without notice.

The offer

The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products or services offered. The description is sufficiently detailed to enable the consumer to make a proper assessment of the offer.

If due to an error or mistake there is an unclear/incorrect description for an article on our webshop, we always have the right to change it. The Buyer then has the right to cancel the order after which the full amount will be refunded to his account.

Price

All prices listed are in EURO and include VAT.

Transport or shipping costs are charged separately and are always at the expense of the Buyer, unless otherwise stated. You can consult these prices at 'Shipping and returns'.

The price applicable to the sales agreement is the price in effect at the time of the registered order and as indicated on the website at that time. The price refers to the article that is described verbatim. The accompanying photos are decorative and may contain elements that are not included with the article and the associated price.

If an incorrect price is listed for an item on our webshop due to an error or mistake, we always have the right to change this price. The Buyer then has the right to cancel the order, after which the full amount will be refunded to his account.

Payment

Payment is made electronically. The webshop uses the secure payment system via Shopify. The purchase is made when we receive confirmation of your payment. Until then, the ordered items are the property of Mari-Ve.

Warranty

Legal warranty (only for consumers):
According to the law of 21 September 2004 on the protection of consumers in the sale of consumer goods, the consumer has legal rights. Each article is subject to this legal guarantee from the date of purchase by the first owner. Any commercial guarantee does not affect these rights.

To make a claim under the warranty, the Buyer must be able to provide proof of purchase and contact Mari-Ve in advance, after which the Buyer must return the item to Mari-Ve at his own expense.

Any defect must be reported within 14 days of its discovery. After that, any right to repair or replacement will lapse. The (commercial and/or legal) guarantee never applies to defects that arise as a result of accidents, neglect, falls, abnormal or incorrect use, use of the article contrary to the purpose for which it was designed, failure to comply with the instructions for use or manual, adjustments or modifications to the article, rough handling, poor maintenance. Nor does it apply to articles with a shorter lifespan or wear and tear articles. The guarantee is not transferable.

Complaints

Sometimes it happens that something does not go as planned. We ask the Buyer to first make his complaints known to us. This can be done via the email address info@mari-ve.be. This way we can look for a solution together. If this does not work, you can file a complaint with the Consumer Ombudsman. You can find this government institution via https://consumentenombudsdienst.be/nl .

As of 15 February 2016, consumers in the EU can also report complaints via the European Commission's ODR platform. This ODR platform can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
